Hey book lovers,
So today I wanted to share some books on my wish list… These are books I want to buy and read before the end of the year. I’ve read some short reviews and seen the books floating around, so I definitely want to get in on these books soon.
I’ve only read one of Elizabeth Gilbert’s books, the famous Eat.Pray.Love. But the brilliance of that book has made me want to read all her other books, and this one is at the top of my list. People say if you’re looking for that last push to really tap into your greatness, this is the book to read. I really need some inspiration and this book might be the push I need.
MY SISTER, THE SERIAL KILLER
I mean with that title, why wouldn’t I want to read this book? On a serious note, I’ve read some pretty good reviews on this book. I also haven’t really read any crime fiction, so this might be the book to really get me into the genre. This book is supposed to be dark, yet extremely comical. So I’m excited to see how those two themes come together
AN AMERICAN MARRIAGE
Like many books on my wishlist, reviews influenced me to give this book a chance. I have not read on of Tayari Jones’ work yet, and I’m almost convinced that this book will be a great start. Apparently this book is a love story, and I’m a sucker for those.
CLAP WHEN YOU LAND
This fiction book is one I’m very excited to read. I’ve also read some reviews and I’ll probably really like this book (I hope). It promises to describe themes of forgiveness and family bonds through a tragedy.
EVERYTHING GOOD WILL COME
I have actually started reading this book already, but I’m only about 1 chapter in. I stopped reading it because I have a soft copy, and I prefer to get a hard copy. So I’ll continue reading this book soon. But what I can say is, this book is looking really good so far, I’m actually hooked.
Have you read any of these books yet?
